Samsung finally launched the Galaxy On8 in India in mid-range. Phone will go on sale as a part of big billion days starting from 2nd October midnight. Phone will be available in Gold, Black and White colour variants. Samsung Galaxy On8 is priced ₹15900.
On8 is powered by octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6 GHz, while processor of this phone is not disclosed by Samsung. This octa-core unit is supported by 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Galaxy on8 also comes with SD card slot to expand storage upto 128 GB. Phone is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. As a plus point phone also features UDS (Ultra Data Saving) mode and S bike mode, which comes under make for India initiative.
Phone features 5.5 inch full-HD super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Display of this phone is awesome, which is a plus point as none of the phone comes with a display better than On8 at this price point. Phone feature Metal body design and diamond cut metal frame. As a negative point, phone does not have any fingerprint scanner. Dimensions of phone are 151.7x76x7.8mm and weighs 169 grams.
