Finally Mi launched the most awaited phablet called Mi Max in India. Apart from Mi max company has also unveiled the MIUI 8 and its new features. This Phablet comes with 6.44 inch Display with a resolution of 1080x1920pixels, i.e. 342 pixel per inch. Phone is all metal-build and comes in different colours Dark Grey, Gold and Silver. It also has fingerprint scanner at the back panel to give better security.
On the basis of RAM, internal and processor, 2 variants are launched in India. First model is powered by 1.8 GHz hexa-core snapdragon 650 processor clubbed with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, priced INR 14999/-. Second model is powered by 1.8 GHz snapdragon 652 octa-core processor clubbed with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage and this variant is priced INR 19999/-.
Mi Max features 16 MP f/2.0 aperture rear camera with PDAF (phase detection auto focus) and LED flash. Picture quality of this camera is good. For selfie lovers it comes with 5 megapixel front facing camera with a wide angle view of 85 degree. On connectivity front phablet comes with 4G LTE (with VoLTE), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS with GLONASS, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac with Mimo.
Second SIM slot of Mi Max is Hybrid, hence you can use it to expand storage up to 128 GB instead of using second SIM. As a highlight it comes with a massive 4850 mAh battery to give a long lasting backup. Dimensions of the phablet are 173.1×88.3×7.5mm and weighs 203 gram. One more highlight of the Mi Max is infrared emitter, hence you can use it as universal remote for AC, TV, Fridge, DVD Player, DTH, FAN, projector etc. Apart from this ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and proximity sensor.
