A new Indian startup Smartron has launched its first ever smartphone. This phone is named as t.phone. Phone will go on sale in the start of June from official site of Smatron and Gadget360. Phone is priced 22999/- and registrations are open now.
As highlight phone features powerful Snapdragon 810 (v2.1) octa-core chipset. This has support of 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM. This RAM is more efficient than LPDDR3, also power consumption is about 30 percent less. It has 64 GB of internal storage. It also comes with SD card slot to expand storage up to 128 GB. As an advantage you will get unlimited cloud storage with this phone.
This flagship device is running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. There is no official word about further OS updates via OTA, but we can expect the upcoming Android versions on this phone. It sports 13 MP rear camera with Dual LED flash and Isocell. Front facing camera of this phone is 4 megapixel. Camera is so build to offer better picture quality in low light conditions.
Smartron features 5.5 inch super AMOLED full HD display. Pixel density of the display is 401 PPI as display resolution is 1080x1920p. Phone is very light in weight i.e. 149 grams. It comes in 4 different colours Classic Grey, Metallic Pink, Steel Blue, and Sunrise Orange. Design of phone is pretty as it is dual tone metal build. Thickness of phone is 6.98 mm i.e. phone is as slim as iPhone 6.
Phone is backed by 3000 mAh battery with quick charge 2.0 support. Phone also comes with USB type-C connectivity to offer faster data transfer and charging. Phone comes with all essential connectivity features like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, FM, US type-C and USB OTG but IR sensor and NFC is absent in the device. Coming to the sensors phone comes with Proximity, compass, Barometer, Ambient light, and Gyroscope.
