Letv Le 1S the budget segment phone priced at Rs. 10999/- . lets check whether this phone is worth buying or not:

Key Features:

HARDWARE:
This phone powers with a 64 Bit 2.2 GHz octa core MediaTek Helio X10 processor coupled with a 3 GB of Ram and large 32 GB of internal storage. These features strongly back the phone. This ensures, multitasking, gaming and Multimedia (Full HD, video playback) without any lags and hiccups. Processor of Le 1s allows it to take the lead on its arch rival Lenovo K4 note.

Elegant LOOK with a FULL METAL UNI-BODY DESIGN:

The looks of this phone certainly become the USP (unique selling point). With all metal uni-body it gives the phone a premium finish. The symmetric designed stereo speaker grill at the bottom centered with a USB C type charging port.  At the top phone have 3.5 mm audio jack and Infrared LED. The handset is very compact and easy to fit in one hand. Only gold color variant is available in the flash sale.

It has a full HD display with a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels. The display has very crisp and clear output. It enhances the playback experience. The mirror finished finger print scanner also there at the back. It is a 360 degree sensor, means you don’t have to worry about orientation of your finger.

It would definitely attract those users who want premium looks in budget range. We should say this phone has got the best looks in this range.

The EUI software:

The phone runs on EUI software on top of Android 5.0.2. Yes the Android version is a bit outdated but the EUI fills the gap. It’s a very intuitive user interface. It has some extraordinary features like the unlock keypad shifts to whatever side you are holding the phone for easy one handed usage. The UI is very lite and there is no app drawer by default. Well it is something like a Chinese fashion not to give an App Drawer. The Marshmallow update is not confirmed but we can expect to have it in April 2016.

At the event we also got the chance to explore the device. We run the Antutu benchmark in the Letv Le 1s and the score came out 54599.

Camera
The 13 MP camera produces decent pictures, event venue had artificial lighting though the Camera performs well. The camera has the PDAF (phase detection auto focus) technology. The 5 MP front camera took beautiful selfies with the beauty mode enhancing the pictures.
Battery:

Battery is something may become a deal breaker for some heavy users. This phone has a 3000 mAh non removal battery. The fast charging feature is there to compensate the low rating battery.
Verdict

Apart from a low battery and non-expandable storage (supports USB OTG with type C adapter), phone has got the features which are worth buying in this range. Currently in the market, you may not find any phone with such a premium looks and Design at just 10999/- INR. The 2.2 GHz octa core processor ensures you high end performance with decent camera producing beautiful pictures. Yes it would be difficult for some users to trust a new entrant in the Indian market, but we suggest you that this phone is worth buying in this range considering the options you have like Lenovo K4 note and the coming Redmi note 3. Redmi note 3 may give this phone a tough competition.
